After hitting the malls and the big-box stores on Black Friday, you can patronize mom-and-pop local merchants on Saturday, Nov. 29, then catch the Tall Boys/Goodnight Milwaukee show at 8 p.m. at ComedySportz, 420 S. 1st St.
Just as they combined with Sketch Marks for two shows earlier in November, the Tall Boys are performing with Goodnight Milwaukee on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 29.
Tall Boys improvisers Lee Rowley and Erik Koconis told Tyler Maas in the Milwaukee Record that performing their long-form improv comedy alongside a sketch comedy show leverages performance styles as well as potential audiences.
“The more people that are part of the show, the more people know about it,” Lee told Tyler.
Tall Boys includes Lee, Erik, Robby McGhee and James Boland. They’re coached by Jared Stepp.
Goodnight Milwaukee is hosted by Jake Kornely and Tyler Menz and features Chris Schmidt, with regular contributions from Greg Bach as well as Lee and Erik.
