Hey Folks!
One of the most original comedy groups in town, The MUTES, are adding cast members to their unique line-up of already talented comedians. You have seen them at various events and festivals around town, including last years 2009 Milwaukee Comedy Festival!
From the audition notice:
The nation’s premiere silent film style/vaudevillian revival sketch comedy troupe, The Marvelous Unspeaking Troupe of Entertaining Scoundrels aka The M.U.T.E.S. will be holding auditions for new troupe members on Wednesday February 17th at the Alchemist Theatre from 7pm-10:30pm. The Alchemist is located at 2569 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue in Milwaukee’s Bayview neighborhood. Auditions are by appointment only.

*Please come ready to do some improv & meet other members of the troupe
*If you have a comedic monologue we may ask you to do it
*Bring a headshot & resume if you have them, otherwise an audition form will be provided
*Please bring your calendar and any schedules/conflicts such as work, other rehearsals, your brother’s cousin’s Bar mitzvah
*Please note that to be considered you must be available to rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7-10pm
*Our performances are usually on weekends but we may ocassionally be hired for an event that is on a week night
*Most importantly come ready to have fun!
