Meanwhile All Over

Meanwhile Improv Troupe is making its third annual appearance in the sixth annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival, but you’ll see cast members throughout the four-day event.
The long-form, unscripted, ensemble comedy of Vince Figueroa, Tyler Kroll, Alex Grindeland, Beth Lewinski, Cynthia Kmak and Lee Rowley is in the 7:30 p.m. set Saturday, Aug. 6, aka Day 3 of the fest, which will be at ComedySportz, 420 S. 1st St.

“Meanwhile is a group that loves to perform for a live audience and really can’t get enough of it,” Lee Rowley says. “It’s been a blast in years past, and we can’t wait for another chance to show Milwaukee and THE WORLD what we are about. Well, maybe THE WORLD is a little too much. But, I think assuming we can show MILWAUKEE what we are all about is totally fair.”

Not only does the group as a whole enjoy performing, individuals from Meanwhile are making further contributions to the festival. Tyler Kroll does standup at 7:30 p.m. on Day 2. And Alex Grindeland performs standup on Saturday and is one half of Al & Jim’s One Man Show, which appears in the 10 p.m. slot on Day 2, following standup by Beth Lewinski and the sketch show Bye Bye Liver, whose cast includes Cynthia Kmak.

Tickets for the festival start at $15.
