Kenosha calling

Greg Kuper, event coordinator of the Kenosha Film Festival, is casting about for actors, writers and filmmakers for the event, which is scheduled for Nov. 12 at the Rhode Center for the Arts, in Kenosha.

“Without participants, this won’t be much of a festival,” Greg says. To wit, he’s looking for actors to sign up to give a 30-second monologue and perform a 30-second improv with two other actors. Six actors, he says, will be chosen to be leads in a made-for-local-TV movie. Those not chosen to be lead actors will appear in the movie as extras.

From Greg: “Actors can be any size, shape, look, ethnicity, or age. We are looking forability. There will be talent agents and acting coaches judging, and therewill also be talent agencies with booths set up to talk to actors.” For more information, please click here.
