Late Night Laughs

On almost any given night in Milwaukee you can find a funny show to entertain you.  The comedy scene has grown so much in the last few years, the problem is deciding which show to go see, as multiple shows happen at the same time on different parts of town.

We want to remind you that there are some late night comedy options for you, and two in particular have exciting extras to offer this weekend.

Meanwhile Improv, one of Milwaukee’s longest running long-form improv troups performs an hour of completely unscripted, improvised comedy.  This Fridays show, happening at 10pm at ComedySportz will feature their newest member, comedy great Jason Powell!

From the web…

The scenes they act out are inspired by real-life stories as told by local celebrity guests. The group features the talents of six Milwaukee comedians: Vince Figueroa, Tyler Kroll, Beth Lewinski, Jason Powell, Cynthia Kmak, Lee Rowley. Because they are improvised, every show is different – like snowflakes!

As always, the show is only $5, cash at the door.

The Midnight Show – 10 Years Strong!
It’s not too often a comedy group gets to celebrate their ten year anniversary.  In fact, this may be the first time in Milwaukee comedy history.  This Friday and Saturday The Midnight Show, which was originally called Cock-n-Toast will celebrate by bringing back former players from accross the country including Brian Allman, Bill Bartel, Dylan Bolin, Joe Cortese, Matt Garnaas, Alan Guszkowski, Tim Higgins, Eric Price, and Dave Theune.

Tickets are $10 reserved and $15 at the door – cash only. To order, call (414) 272-8888.
