Like letting the inmates run the penitentiary, here’s a display of comedians put together by comedians.
It’s called the Milwaukee Stand-Up Comedy Showcase. And it’s run by your friends at Caste of Killers Comedy Collective.
From the Web: “This is a show for comics by comics which means we put the laughter above all else, rather than those money-hungry comedy clubs that try to bleed you dry with over-priced 2 drink minimums.”
This monthly show is 8-11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, at Karma Bar and Grill, 600 E. Ogden Ave.
To name names, the host is Rick Phelps, and the showcased comedians will be Rob. G., Nick Ledesma, Brandon Abbott and Lara Beitz. The show also will feature Liza Marie and Mario Robinson.
