Hair-raising musical

Again this month, The Improvised Musical (T.I.M.) is taking on audience suggestions for an extemporaneously composed and choreographed song-and-dance drama. But this time, T.I.M. also is taking on a cause.

From the web: “T.I.M. will be holding not only our normal show, but also an OFFICIAL NO SHAVE NOVEMBER PARTY! We will be collecting donations as everyone leaves to help out the Prostate Cancer Foundation. People who donate will get their pick of official swag from the party merch that http://www.movember.com/ will be sending us!”

The show is set for 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, at 420 S. 1st St. Tickets are $5 cash at the door. Donations are unlimited. T.I.M. is recommended for ages 17 and older. The ComedySportz bar and restaurant are open for the show. And you can make reservations at (414) 282-8888.

Further from the web: “Come see some of Milwaukee’s best improvisers create a whirlwind story in song and dance right before your eyes, based solely on the audience’s suggestions! Plus, the show is accompanied by a 3-piece band that improvises songs you’ve never heard before!”

And you may never hear those songs again – unless you include singing them to yourself on your way home.
