‘Master in the house

Jeff Ross calls himself the Roastmaster General, which makes a reference that won’t be as funny after the U.S. Postal Service is eventually replaced by electronic communications and Federal Express.

His claims to fame are many and growing. He boasts of roasting the likes of Charlie Sheen, Pamela Anderson and Donald Trump. He’s the author of the book, “I Only Roast the Ones I Love: Busting Balls without Burning Bridges.” He co-wrote a movie script going into production this year: “The Comedian,” starring Robert De Niro and Kristen Wiig and directed by Sean Penn. He even has a publicist, who referred to him as “Roast Master,” misspelled the name of a celebrity he associates with and can’t say whether he has been to Milwaukee before.

But the point is he’s in Milwaukee this week. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 2 at the Pabst Theater. For $29.50 tickets, kindly click here.
