Think you’ve got what it takes to perform in the annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival? It was announced today on the official festival website that applications to perform sketch comedy, improvisation or stand up are now available.
Celebrating it’s seventh year August 3-11, 2012, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival has received national attention for creating a positive atmosphere where “performers and audiences alike are sharing a great comedy experience” said festival Founder Matt Kemple.
The website touts an easy 2-step process, check it out: the application to perform can be found right here. Submissions require a $30 fee to apply which covers processing and early marketing costs, but accepted groups chosen to perform will receive plenty of perks to make it worth their while including free admissions to shows, free food and drinks back stage, and of course all the fame and glory that comes with it.
