They laughed their way through the playoffs in the hotly contested ComedySportz Recreational League last fall. Now members of the improvisational comedy team known as Poster Children will test their wits against professional improvisers before a paying audience at ComedySportz.
The match is set for 10 p.m., Friday, Feb . 24, at 420 S. 1st St. No wagering, please.
Members of the championship team include: Clarence “Sammy” Aumend, Maria Zanoni and Dan Karrmann.
If you’re not familiar with the ComedySportz Rec League, another season starts up March 11. Teams of qualified players pay $350 for two weeks of workshops and then several weeks of Sunday afternoon competitions, culminating in a championship playoff.
