Two and counting

Two years is a long time, when you think about it. Consider it in terms of serious relationships or complete sobriety or egg salad.

So it’s impressive that a group of individuals who met through ComedySportz workshops are still together performing their own brand of comedy improv on a regular basis for two years running.
You can help them celebrate. Homegrown Electric Circus is treating us to its 2-year anniversary show at 8 p.m., Friday, March 2, at the ComedySportz garage theater, 420 S. 1st St. Bring gifts if you want, but you must have$5 cash to get in.

From the Facebook invitation: “Since they’re getting old (or in Scott’s case older) they’ve decided to class things up. At least until they start talking. That’s why they’ll be accompanied by local jazz band Rapscallion.”
And just to put names with the antics, the circus includes: Evan James Koepnick, Jazmin Vollmar, Mike Walker, Scott Heaton and Josh Barto.
