8 p.m., Monday, April 2, Battle Royal, at Carte Blanche Studios, 1024 S. 5th St. See 15 standup comics compete in the first of three preliminary bouts with winners eventually vying for a featured spot in the 7th annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Aug. 3-11.
