Amid its collaboration with Milwaukee Comedy on the Battle Royale 2 standup competition, our friends at Caste of Killers Comedy Collective has its regular feature shows.
Join them Friday, April 6, at 8:30 p.m. and again at 10:45 p.m. for the Milwaukee Stand-Up Comedy Showcase 10, at Karma Bar & Grill, 600 E. Ogden Ave. Tickets are $5 in advance online or $10 at the door.
From the news release: “Milwaukee’s premiere underground comedy show features some of the best up-and-coming comics alongside some of the best comics in the biz.”
Showcased comics will include Kenny DeForest and Adam Waldron.
Then, at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, which is the second Tuesday of the month, Caste of Killers runs the free monthly Highbrow Comedy Show at the Nice Ash Cigar Bar, 323 and 327 W. Main St., Waukesha.
Lara Beitz will headline there along with David Drake, Mike O’Neill and Andy Bolton.
Speaking of Milwaukee Comedy, it’s sponsoring a smaller-scale showcase of comedy sketches, written and performed by participants in a Patrick Schmitz workshop. The show includes standup comedy by Tyler Kroll and the considerable talents of Erik Koconis, among others.
That show starts at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at Be Spectacled, 7605 W. Harwood Ave., Wauwatosa. Admission is $5.
