Sometimes they make you laugh.The ComedySportz Recreational League makes us laugh. It begins two rounds of end-of-the-season playoffs on Sunday, June 3. The matches – featuring competitive improvisational comedy – are at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. They’re free, and they’re at ComedySportz, 420 S. 1st St.
Plus, the ComedySportz restaurant and bar will be open during the playoffs, which means you can enjoy a round of drinks (which is only free if you find someone else willing to buy) while enjoying a round of team improv.
The second round of playoffs – culminating in a league champion whose members get to play against a professional ComedySportz team in an upcoming match – is set for Sunday Jan. 10.
