Congratulations to the Spasmodic Dinosaurs for winning the ComedySportz Rec League championship for the Fall 2012 season.The Dinosaurs – featuring Victoria Shaw, Eric Wertzler, Pam Zorko and Ben Scharf – out-improvised the Poster Children team that won it all a year ago.
The Rec League functions twice a year at ComedySportz Milwaukee and involves amateur teams of comedy improvisers who compete on Sunday afternoons in free public shows.
The Spasmodic Dinosaurs emerged as the best of seven teams in the fall season, which started in September. As champions, they’ll go on to play a professional ComedySportz team during a regular Friday or Saturday night show. As soon as we know when that show is scheduled, we’ll let you know.
