Talk about your year-end finale, the monthly open mic competition at Milwaukee’s Comedy Café culminates in a grand championship this week. Winners from the past 11 months are going head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-head to determine who’s the 2012 Milwaukee Open Mic Champion.

From Facebook: “As audience members you will be the ones voting for, and therefore deciding the winner. In addition to the bragging rights the winner will also receive $100 Cash Money, a 10 minute weekend spot at a regular Comedy Cafe show, and a featured spot in a Caste of Killers showcase show.”
Admission is $5. The laugh-off begins at 8 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 615 E. Brady St.
