The monthly Sugar Maple Comedy & Music Show begins at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at 441 E. Lincoln Ave. It features the music of Cat Ries and showcases the comedy talents of Tom Abramoff  Matty Field Ryan Lowe  Ryan Holman Nate Seek will be your emcee. Tickets are $5.

We don’t know much more than what the posters say, but there’s an open mic for standup comedians Tuesday, June 4, at the Down and Under Pub, 2535 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., in Milwaukee’s hip Bay View neighborhood. Gary Z will be your emcee. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. And the admission is free. One
