Even as Milwaukee’s sketch comedy scene grows, the local deans of the genre continue to raise the bar.
Broadminded comedy performed again in the Milwaukee Comedy Festival (as they have for every one of the nine annual events. And they’re cooking up another course of belly-busting humor just in time for the Macy’s parade and the gun deer hunting season.The latest show from the all-female writing-performing team runs Nov. 21, 22, 28 and 29.

Each November, Americans briefly stop gorging themselves and shopping in order to reflect on all the things they are grateful for. Accordingly, characters in Thank YOU! express their gratitude for things such as the good old days, enablers, and all that Cincinnati has to offer.
The troupe of Stacy Babl, Anne Graff LaDisa, Melissa Kingston and Megan McGee offers live and video sketches reflecting their hilarious takes on everyday life. They play on characters, situations and events we all find familiar.
It’s become a holiday tradition to see broadminded shows around Thanksgiving.
All these shows will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Arcade Theatre of the Underground Collaborative, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., lower level.
