Talk about ambitious!For their next improv performance, Homegrown Electric Circuscame up with the title “Major League Playoff Spooktacular Election Show.”
In a nutshell, that’s a lot of stuff that’s happening right now: baseball, Halloween, politics.
The Circus performers – Josh Barto, Scott Heaton, Evan Koepnick and Mike Walker – sure look to be topical with their improvisations.
From Facebook: “If you come to Comedy Sportz this Friday at 8:00 you can see Homegrown Electric Circus’ comedic take on all these events! Unless of course we get a suggestion that has absolutely nothing to do with what was written above. Then forget all that. This is an improv show after all. It’s kind of out of our hands really. Perhaps we shouldn’t have been so specific in the title of our show?”
Whatever the suggestions, expect a lot of laughs for just $5, starting at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, at 420 S. 1st St.
From Facebook again: “It will be totally topical. Unless the topic we get is the 1920s or something like that.”
