Caste of Killers Comedy Collective launches another open mic for practicing stand-ups and standup wannabes. It’s 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 2, at the Karma Bar & Grill, 600 E. Ogden Ave., a place that the Caste’s Damon Millard describes as a very intimate setting for comedy. Plus, it’s free.
Here’s more from Facebook: “A great, supportive atmosphere where comics encourage other comics to grow. Take advantage of this. There’s never a need to take a comedy class; stick around after the open mic and buy your favorite comic a beer and they will spill the tricks of the trade faster than….(insert prostitute joke)!”

(The new Open Mic Under the Stairs runs every Wednesday except the last of the month, so it won’t conflict with the regular open mic at the Comedy Cafe.)
