Inspired by a 1974 multimedia project that left an impression on many children, FREE 2 B U & Me mixes songs and sketch comedy with a social message.
From Facebook: “FREE 2 B U & Me promises a lively exploration of both past and present gender, race, and sexual equality issues, all woven into a colorful tapestry of music and laughter. One of the most fun live shows of the season for adults and children alike.”
The shows start at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 22-24 and March 29-31. They’re at the Alchemist Theater and Lounge, 2569 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
Tickets are $12 if you click here in advance or $15 at the door.
