Ah, the Christmas season. Peace on Earth. Restful merry gentlemen. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow. Just the occasion for a bloody murder mystery – OR TWO!
Starting Thursday, Dec. 1, Alchemist Productions and Project Empty Space present an interactive murder mystery called “Who Killed the Ghost of Christmas Past?”
From the web: “The show is partly scripted action onstage, but audience members (you!) must mingle and gossip with the suspects, wander two labyrinthine floors of the theater building in search of clues, and play ‘games’ to access evidence that helps solve the murder.”

Meanwhile, at the Sixth Street Theatre in Racine and Carte Blanche Studios in Milwaukee, there’s a murder mystery called “Who Killed Santa?” described as an “alternative adult show” with holiday song parodies, “large rod puppets” and audience participation. See a trend here?
