The Milwaukee Comedy Festival is now accepting performer applications for Sketch, Long and Short Form Improv, Musical Sketch and Improv or Sketch Video. Local stand up acts will also be accepted.
The annual comedy festival is looking for the best live comedy from across the country and beyond. High school and college teams are also encouraged to apply. The Milwaukee Comedy Festival will showcase the top comedic talent based on quality, originality, professionalism and above all, funniness!
Stand up slots will be reserved for local performers or by invitation only. Applications will not be accepted for out of state stand up comedians.
Here’s what to do!
This years application is an easy to use online form. We ask for some basic contact information, a photo or team logo, links to some video clips and a small submission fee to apply.
First, we need a few things:
- Video of your group performing. We want to see some unedited video footage. Taped live performances work, as long as the audio can be heard! Give us at least 15 minutes of your best work, the more footage the better. Performers chosen on quality, originality, professionalism and above all, funniness! Festival participants from 2010 are not required to submit footage.
- Press Materials. Upload photos of your group or a team logo if you have one, and a group bio/short description (about 100 words). Press kits are welcome.

- Submission Fee. Submitting to the festival requires a $30 non-refundable application fee to apply. You will need a credit card or Paypal account to complete the submission process.
