If you’ve got a hankering for some standup comedy in Milwaukee this week, as usual, you’re in luck. Of course, Milwaukee continues to draw top out-of-town acts, such as “The Late Late Show’s” Craig Fergusonand “Park & Recreation’s” Nick Offerman, performing Friday and Saturday, respectively, at the Pabst Theater.
But there’s loads of Milwaukee talent to catch too. For instance, our friends at Caste of Killers Comedy Collective have these offerings:
8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, Open Mic Under the Stairs, at the Karma Bar & Grill, 600 E. Ogden Ave. No cover charge.
7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, The Caffeinated Comedy Hour, at the Sherman Perk Coffee Shop, 4924 W. Roosevelt Drive. Admission is $3, and it’s BYOB.
And then, a feast for the ear as well as the funny bone:
9:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 23, the Cactus Club Comedy and Music Show, at 2496 W. Wentworth Ave.
For $7, you’ll be entertained by featured musical performers Milwaukee’s Newlybreds, and, from Minneapolis, Southside Desire.
