The upstart theater group, Outskirts Theatre Co., is following up its inaugural production of “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead,” with a new production at the Underground Collaborative’s Arcade Theatre.
And Baby Makes Seven – January 15-17
With the help of their good friend Peter, Anna and Ruth can have a baby and start the family they’ve always dreamed of… but what does this mean for their three imaginary children? Paula Vogel’s outrageous dark comedy And Baby Makes Seven redefines the line between illusion and reality and gives a fresh outlook on what being a ‘family’ really means.
The director is Outskirts’ founder Ryan Albrechtson. The cast includes:
- Sam Ellis Sherman
- Francesca Steitz and
- Katie Katschke
Waukesha-based Outskirts began in 2014 with the mission “to create experimental and thought-provoking theatre that strives to both educate and entertain the community as well as serve as a call to action against social and moral injustices.”
Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Please click here for tickets.
Milwaukee’s Arcade Theatre is at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., lower level.
