Milwaukee comedygoers best know improvised comedy as the short-form genre associated with ComedySportz. Because the Milwaukee-based global entertainment company has been developing, teaching, performing and franchising its improv games for more than 30 years, that’s why.
But there’s also long-form version of improvisational comedy.
That’s what you saw last Friday, Feb. 6, if you caught the Tall Boys in their monthly show at the Farina Arena at ComedySportz.
That’s what you’ll see with Coyote Butler this Friday, Feb. 13, in the same venue, at 420 S. 1st St.
Coyote Butler – 8 p.m., Feb. 13
Coyote Butler is a long-form improv comedy group overseen by local improv veterans Mike Kauth and Jacob Bach.
From an email blast:
If you have the time and want to laugh and enjoy some long-form improvisation then come join us this Friday. It costs a total of $5 to witness the goings on and ComedySportz has a fully stocked bar and a restaurant to help make things even more tasty.
Appearing with Mike and Jacob in the 60-minute Coyote Butler show will be:
- Matt Garnaas
- Kelsey Moses
- Tony Berg
- Evan Schroeder and
- Jon Waldbauer
