“We merely gave a name to what was already happening right beneath the surface. There are a bunch of obscenely talented individuals rocking this scene, right now. At this very moment, there is a genius about to hit an open mic. Maybe thirty people will bear witness. Those thirty people will tell thirty other people and soon enough, genius has a fan base. It’s great to be a part of that: To be able to provide and to share the stage with so many funny people. We are dependent on one another. So far, there seems to have been a beautiful equilibrium struck. There is love apparent. It’s delicious.”
