Talk about supporting the Milwaukee Comedy community! The Caste of Killers Comedy Collective continues providing a stage and an audience and encouragement to wannabe standup comics – at open mics and other shows around Milwaukee.
As a warm-up to the Halloween weekend, Caste of Killers is hosting The Killer Open Mic at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at Art Bar Riverwest, 722 E. Burleigh St. The collective has been showcasing startup stand-ups at this joint since March 2010.

We’ve had some amazing open mics in the past few weeks because you never know what the slippery terrain of the Art Bar is going to demand. Here’s one way to stay ahead of the game: Bring your jokes and fly by the seat of your pants.”
Performers sign up at 8:30 for sets of 5-7 minutes. The laughs officially begin at 9.
