In their upcoming monthly theme show, Worst Case Scenario presents a celebration of the world of Video Games with an all-new and completely improvised comedy show: “The Console Wars”.
We have an exclusive interview and a promo video for the show (in the style of Mortal Combat and Street Fighter of course!). Take a look below, and go see the show Friday, April 1st, at 11:59pm, at ComedySportz, 420 S. 1st St. It’s right after the Comedy Cage Match Fundraiser, so see two great shows in the same night!
Worst Case Scenario Interview!
1.) How did WCS get started and who is involved?
The group consists of Andrew Pauly, Alex Grindeland, David Lane, Greg Bach, Kesan Holt, Mary Baird and Ryan Spiering, but our monthly performance cast varies. Worst Case Scenario started in the spring of 2010 as a comedy group which was looking to do long form imrov. After we discussed the direction of the show and what we were looking to achieve, we came up with the momthly theme element. Also, as ComedySportz players, we decided it would be a good idea to involve our short form work as well!
2.) What can people expect from a WCS show and/or how is it different from other shows in town?
3.) What is this month’s theme and what does that mean we’ll see?
This month’s theme is “The Console Wars”. You will see improv games and scenes based around the world of video games. We are paying homage to the games we all grew up with, the ones we have now, all while having a damn good time doing it.
4.) When, where, how much?
11:59pm Friday, April 1 at ComedySportz, 420 S. 1st St Milwaukee.
