Nationally touring standup comedian, Milwaukee Comedy Festival featured stand up comedian and Milwaukee native Dobie Maxwell has created a one of a kind special treat for anyone who lived in the Southeastern Wisconsin area in the second half of the 20th century. Dobie has combined the unique highlights of Milwaukee culture with his own amazing life story to produce a hilarious hybrid of comedy and theatre, which will tickle the funny bone and touch the soul. It’s laughter with a message, and the show is suitable for all ages.
Dobie has been touring North America since 1985 and has appeared with Jerry Seinfeld, Jeff Foxworthy, Drew Carey and countless others. He appeared on CBS TV’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2009 in addition to The Morning Blend on WTMJ TV in Milwaukee. He was the first comedian ever to perform at Milwaukee’s Germanfest in 2010 and is a regular guest on WGN radio in Chicago and ESPN 540’s The D-List in Milwaukee.
