Milwaukee-based sketch comedy
Members of Sketch Marks include Kristin Althoff, Joel Dresang, Amanda Sinko, Scott Heaton, Lee Rowley, Becca Segal and Lindsey Walcott.
Over the years, you have seen us perform individually with such groups as Busy Bar, Bye Bye Liver, ComedySportz, Crouch Comedy, The Dinner Detective, ExFabula, The Faculty, Goodnight Milwaukee, Homegrown Electric Circus, the Over Our Head Players, Retro Comedy Night, Sketch 22, Tall Boys and T.I.M. (The Improvised Musical).
In 2013, inspired by Sketch 22, broadminded Comedy and the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, we put our silly heads together and formed a new sketch comedy troupe, the Sketch Marks. You know how funny we are with other comedy performers. Imagine us combined. Better yet, come see our shows. Bookmark this page and check back to learn about the next Sketch Marks performance.
Sketch Marks your calendar:
In our first two shows, just eight weeks apart, we performed 25 original sketches (including two choreographed song parodies) to full houses. Then, we entertained a standing-room audience at the 9th annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival at Milwaukee’s Next Act Theatre.
We’re teaming up with Tall Boys, the Milwaukee-based improv quartet (which includes Lee Rowley), for two shows Nov. 7 and 8. Click here for tickets.
Join us every other Wednesday for Free Open Improv!
Sketch Marks is running the open improv sessions from 7 to 8 p.m. every other Wednesday (including Oct. 22) at Milwaukee Comedy’s Arcade Theatre, 161 W. Wisconsin Ave., lower level. We lead first-timers as well as experienced improvisers in fun, creative, congenial onstage collaborations.
